SU-III RWRT shelter hatches are designed to withstand blast pressures of up to 440 kPa (4.4 bar) (top-opening) in accordance with current technical standards for civil defense shelters. The hatch flange is constructed from beams reinforced with cladding plates and is equipped with gas-operated lifting supports for easier opening. The hatches can be upgraded with armor plates for shrapnel/ballistic protection and special materials for fire resistance.SU-III RWRT hatches feature a multi-point locking system with handles, providing advanced protection against blast wave pressure and equipped with a rubber gasket for gas tightness.
