AFU CO2 6000L – Carbon Dioxide Filter (Modular)

The AFU CO2 6000L filter is designed to remove carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air and has a capacity of up to 6,000 liters; by connecting two filters in parallel, the capacity can be increased to 12,000 liters, and by connecting three filters in parallel, it can be increased to 18,000 liters.The AFU CO2 6000L filter is designed to fit the ARC CO2 6000L scrubber, but it may also be compatible with other existing systems (please verify dimensions).Spare filters should be stored in a sealed container, and used filters should be easily replaceable within seconds. In enclosed spaces, especially in a shelter where fresh air intake is limited or nonexistent, carbon dioxide (CO2) will gradually reach dangerous levels. Carbon dioxide (CO2) can become a "silent killer" because its effects are not immediately noticeable. A person may experience a mild headache or dizziness, then lose consciousness, and fatalities may not occur until many hours later (though the process cannot be stopped if the person is unconscious).The AFU CO2 4800L filter has a CO2 capacity of up to 4,800 liters.An average "resting" person produces 20–30 liters of CO2 per hour.To calculate how many filters you need, use the following formula: (number of people) × (>20 liters) × (number of hours).The volume of the enclosed space must also be taken into account to ensure adequate air circulation and prevent the formation of "CO2 pockets" in the room.
