The MZS system includes an MZS explosion damper mounted in a special metal housing featuring a flange with a 200 mm diameter opening. Thesteel housing protects the MZS explosion damper against mechanical damage and damage caused by environmental conditions, and offers the option of installing an electric heating wire to prevent freezing.The MZS protective section is designed to protect ventilation equipment in special-purpose buildings from the effects of a prolonged shock wave with a pressure of up to 10 kg/cm² (1000 kPa).The protective sections automatically close under the pressure of the blast wave, sealing ventilation openings or air ducts and providing protection against the blast wave penetrating the shelter.
