Hinged blast-resistant doors and passageways are designed with a traditional swing mechanism featuring reinforced hinges, single or double leaves, and multi-point locking mechanisms capable of withstanding high dynamic and static blast pressure loads as well as ground shock pressure. These doors can be manufactured from steel or composite materials, and may include concrete or other material reinforcements to provide additional protection against ballistic threats, forced entry, fire, and other hazards.
