The ATM HS-1 and ATM HS-1S shelters are designed to meet and, in some respects, exceed the standards established by Finland for its S1 shelters. The cover flap of the ATM HS-1 is made from a single piece of 20 mm thick steel plate, while that of the ATM HS-1S is made from 30 mm thick steel plate, providing additional shrapnel protection.ATM HS-1 hatches feature a multi-point locking system with locking bolts that provide advanced protection against blast wave pressure, as well as a rubber gasket for gas tightness.
